It’s been a while since I introduced myself! My name is Nikki, and I am Licensed Massage Therapist and the owner of Mindful Touch Massage & Wellness. I became a massage therapist

and created Mindful Touch because I had very personal experience with massage therapy changing my life. Regular massage helped me to live a life with less pain and tension, manage my stress better, and live a life where I could thrive, and be my best self.
Circa 2000, I was a single mom, living in Washington State. I was going to college to earn my BA, and working full time, and raising my young daughters. I was too busy, too stressed, and experiencing too little relaxation. It was taking a toll on my body-mind-spirit and effecting me negatively. My body was tense and in pain all the time, and my mindset was less than peaceful. I was bitter and I didn’t even know why! I just thought I was doing all the things I was supposed to do: working to get me and my children out of poverty by going to back to school, getting a degree, and getting a job! I was just grinding away and doing all the things. All the while, my body-mind-soul was disconnected, I was in pain, and I was not thriving. I was far from it.
It was during that time that I started receiving regular massage therapy. The pain and tension in my body resolved, and I noticed a deeper connection to my whole being. I began to understand and embody the value of of rest and relaxation, and listening to my body. In addition to my monthly massages, I began to implement daily rest and relaxation and not allow myself to feel guilty about it. I started to view my monthly massages as an investment in my health and wellness. I had an epiphany: Rest and relaxation was just as important to my health as exercise, good nutrition, and sleep. Massage therapy helped me to understand this, and to live a life with less pain, and it helped me manage my stress.
Now, I help others who suffer from pain, tension, and unmanaged stress. I guide them on their journey to their best selves, and to live their healthiest most harmonious life. I am deeply honored to be doing this healing work! If you are looking for a massage therapist, I encourage to book with me or one of the talented massage therapists at Mindful Touch today!
Sending love, light, and lots of good vibes!
